The Rosary

Hello everyone

Do you want to hear the sound of the rosary

That's the sound of the rosary

Well I'm glad you are here and join me in praying the rosary

And of course course today we pray the glorious mysteries

They are said on Wednesdays and Sundays throughout the year

I will begin with a sign of the cross

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen

Apostles Creed

On the third day he arose again

He ascended into heaven and is sitting at the right hand of God the Father Almighty

from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead

I believe in the Holy Ghost the Holy Catholic Church

the communion of saints the forgiveness of sins

the resurrection of the body and life everlasting Amen

The first glorious mystery is the resurrection of Jesus Christ's glorious triumph over death

He arose from the tomb

And you can find that in John 20 chapter 1

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil Amen

The second glorious mystery is the ascension of Jesus

The ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven 40 days after his glorious resurrection

And you find that in Luke 24 chapter

Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses

as we forgive those who trespass against us

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil Amen

The third glorious mystery is the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost

The descent of the Holy Spirit upon Mary and the Apostles

You find this in Acts 2 chapter 1
