Hey I'm glad you're here glad you found the show

Wow thanks for coming along for the ride

It's been a really crazy ride there have been some bumps

there's a few hurdles that I've actually tripped and fallen over I believe

but it's been a good time trying to get things up and running

I'm actually having a really good time and having a really good week now

It didn't start out so good

The very beginning of the week I sat down in my studio here to do some voiceover work

which you may or may not know that I do

and I couldn't do any because my condenser mic had failed

Well they do that from time to time so I had to put it aside

Thump my fingers on the table scratch my head bang my head on the wall

take some aspirin bang my head on the wall some more

and eventually go down and visit my friendly folks down at the Sam Ash music store

so that I could find a brand new condenser mic

I'd actually been in the market for a new mic for a time

so it was good to be able to actually pick up a new one

So I have this great new Audio Technica AT4040

and it's really working well

I hope you like the sound of the mic

I'm actually still trying to dial a few things in

It's not quite where I want it to be

but it feels really good things appear to be working pretty well

So with all that in mind I missed my midweek show

So sorry here we are on a Friday

I do plan to have a show for you on Sunday evening as well

I've got some more music for you in just a moment
